Guidelines & Instruction for filling up both online and offline application for admission in 5-year Integrated MSc. (3-year BSc+2-year MSc) and 2-year MSc. in Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development (ARTD).
- Integrated MSc. – 5 years (3-year BSc+2-year MSc)
- MSc. - 2 years
- Integrated MSc ARTD – (10+2) Science stream or Vocational Agriculture/Horticulture from recognised institution with at least 50% marks in both 10th and 12th standard examinations.
- MSc ARTD – BSc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Agriculture and Rural Development with at least 50% marks.
Note: Candidates due to complete their final examination in respective year may apply subject to the condition that they shall have to submit their final mark-sheet before admission test.
Relaxation of marks for SC/ST category as per the Government rules.
3. Admission Procedure:
I. Application can be submitted both online & offline mode.
II. There will be a written test of 100 marks.
III. On the basis of written test, candidate will be selected for counselling/interview.
4. Subjects for written test:
I. For Integrated M.Sc. – General Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural sciences), General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English upto 10+2 level.
II. For M.Sc.-General Knowledge, Aptitude Test, Essay Writing in English on general topics.
5. Application Form: (offline mode)
I. Forms may be downloaded from the university website (ranchi.rkmvu.ac.in), such candidates have to prepare a Demand Draft of Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred only) in favour of ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama-RKMVERI’ payable at Ranchi.
II. Application also available at Belur main campus, of the university, located at Belur Math, Howrah, West Bengal and IRTDM Faculty Centre, Morabadi, Ranchi-8, during office hour (Monday to Saturday) on payment of Rupees 300/- by cash.
III. Duly filled in forms may be sent by post to:

Note: In case application gets rejected/ cancelled, amount will not be refunded in any circumstances.
6. Written test venue:
Ranchi and Belur Math campuses. Out station candidates will have to opt for appearing the written test at any of the nearest centres of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission in their own state provided they inform us sufficiently in advance and obtain permission from us. No travelling or other allowances will be permissible for attending the viva-voce/interview.
7. Documents Required:
(I) Self attested photo copies of all mark-sheet and certificates from class X onwards.
(II) Self attested photocopy to support date of birth.
(III) Self attested photo copy of caste certificates for SC, ST & OBC candidates.
(IV) Residential Certificate.
(VI) Character Certificate.
(VI) School/College leaving certificate / migration certificate in original (at the time of admission).
Note: All the related documents will be verified before interview of the selected candidates. They must have to bring original copies of all the documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Those who unable to provide the related documents at the time of verification to proof their claiming, such application will be rejected thereafter.
8 Guidelines for online application:

II. Before filling-up the admission form please go carefully through the Eligibility Criteria and admission regulations of the University.
III. Be careful while filling the application, because once you submitted the form, no edit option will be available.
IV. Please have digital/scan copies of your photograph and signature in .jpg, .jpeg format having size less than 50kb and 20kb respectively.
V. All the relevant documents will be verified before interview of the selected candidates. They must have to bring original copies of all the documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Those who unable to produce the relevant documents at the time of verification to proof their claiming, such application will be rejected thereafter.
VI. Application will be treated as incomplete/rejected unless accompanied by the PHASE-II of application process, which again consists of filling up payment details.
VII. All asterisk (*) marked field are compulsory.
VIII. Charge of each Application Form is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred) only. In case application gets rejected/ cancelled, amount will not be refunded in any circumstances. Applicant(s) have a choice to pay application fee by Demand Draft and Online payment or NEFT/RTGS.
XI. Before proceed to payment please go through below mentioned payment option:
a. Please make a demand draft in favour of ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama – ‘RKMVERI’ payable at Ranchi and fill up the details of the Demand Draft in the given field of payment details.
b. For online payment and through NEFT/RTGS – candidate has to pay net amount of Rs.300/- in favour of Institute, bank and others charges have to be borne by the candidate. After depositing the requisite amount, bank will provide unique transaction ID, if not provided the same by the bank, candidate have to ask for that. Please fill that ID in the given field of payment details.

X. Those who paid by Demand Draft, the original copy of the same must be reached at our office on or before 06.06.2015.
XI. An auto generated confirmation mail will be given after successfully completion of Phase-I and Phase-II of application process to your mail id with your application ID No. Use that ID as login id and your date of birth as password for further process. For the same, candidates must have a valid and functional Email ID.
XII. For Admit Card please check website from 15.05.2015 onwards.
XIII. No need to send the print copy of online application and documents. Those who made their payment of application fee by Demand Draft, they must be sent the DD by speed post.
